Guwahati: A session of the Assam Legislative Assembly will begin from February 11. This will be the last session of the present government in Assam.
Governor Professor Jagdish Mukhi has summoned the next Session of the Assam Legislative Assembly with a notification.
In this session, Assam Finance Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma will file a petition for the first three months of the 2021-22 financial year in view of the forthcoming Assembly elections.
According to the Assam Legislative Assembly authorities, the duration of the session will be decided by the Legislative Assembly’s Advisory Council, although the session is likely to be of three-day.
