GUWAHATI: All Santal Students’ Union(ASSU) General Secretary, Riman Soren on Wednesday met Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu to discuss various education-related issues of the Santal people.
In the special meeting, the ASSU team discussed about the creation of Santali language teachers post in the Assam Education Department, Promotion of Santali medium in Assam, Discussion to arrange a special talk with all Santal organizations, Santali subject books printing for high school, Reservation for higher studies in medical and engineering, etc.
The ASSU GS was accompanied by Motilal Hasdak Advisor, Guwahati City Committee and Salim Raju Marandi, President Guwahati City Committee.
