Early Life, Education:

Dowarah is a student of Zoology from the Tea Town ‘DIBRUGARH’. Currently pursuing her graduation from MDKG SCIENCE COLLEGE, DIBRUGARH.

Speaking about her life, Dowarah said, ” I have spent the most beautiful moments of life at Digboi, as I have done my schooling and college (HS 1st year) from RD ENGLISH ACADEMY & RD JUNIOR COLLEGE respectively. Throughout my school life, I was very nerdy, but my parents always encouraged me to explore different art forms. So I am also a trained singer, Sattriya and Bihu dancer. But in order to support my pageant journey I had to switch colleges and hence pursued my H.S 2nd year from LAHOWAL COLLEGE.”

Modelling Life:

She stepped foot into the world of pageants in 2016.

Speaking to Guwahati Times, Dowarah said, “Ever since I was a kid my father always wanted me to be an International pageant Winner, and hence he always guided me and my sister to follow a lifestyle like a queen. He left no stone unturned to fill us with knowledge about the world of pageantry. I feel very lucky and fortunate enough to have such supportive parents.”

“To be honest, this interest came to me by the support, encouragement and vision of my Papa,” She added.

Modelling as a Career:

I am a person who always chooses to follow the voice of my heart. And I knew it since the beginning, that I’ll be a beauty queen. And I think as long as you listen to your inner voice, everything’s going to fall in place. In fact, with the increasing competition and platforms, I truly believe that Modelling is a good career.

Miss Diva Journey:

Well, Miss Diva has always surprised us by introducing new faces, talents. Also, Malashya Kashyap from Assam and the reigning MISS DIVA UNIVERSE, Adline Castelino has set the bar so high that we had to put in extra efforts. But it was worth it. Also this year all the contestants are super talented and well prepared, so I had to prepare a lot for my audition, in terms of communication skills, ramp walk, styling. But I think as long as you’re being your authentic self, it definitely gonna shine through your performance.

Notably, the first virtual edition of Miss Diva is on the go. The esteemed panel of judges includes Lead Pageant Stylist: Bharat Gupta, Miss Supranational 2016 and actress: Srinidhi Shetty, Hair and Make-up expert: Bianca Louzado, LIVA Miss Diva 2020 Runner-up: Neha Jaiswal, Mister Supranational 2016 2nd Runner-up: Jitesh Thakur, Miss Diva Universe 2014: Noyonita Lodh, Performing Artiste, Singer, Equal Rights Champion and Motivational speaker: Sushant Divgikar and Miss Diva Supranational 2019: Shefali Sood.

The shortlisted candidates would be further put through a round of intense shortlisting grind to arrive at the Top 20 finalists who would then go on to compete for the national crown in Mumbai.
