Bodoland Territorial Council Executive Member(EM) Wilson Hasda on Sunday visited various places of Kokrajhar district to take stock of the destruction caused by the thunderstorm in the area.
Hasda Tweeted,” It was hard time for them. So stood by the side of people as they were affected by hailstorm.
Visited Lotamari School, Rangsupur, Lalpara, Rangaghutu, Satyapur, Borobandha and other adjacent areas.
Also extended financial assistance and Tarpaulin to the affected people.”

The EM visited Rangsupur, Lalpara, Rangaghutu, Satyapur, Borobandha, Simolodohi and other adjacent areas and meet the people affected by the thunderstorm.
Speaking to Guwahati Times, a localite said, “Currently, we don’t even have a roof to stay in as everything we had has been destroyed by the storm. Wilson sir came to our place and offered us some money and a tarpaulin as a temporary relief. Now, we can arrange something to stay.”
“We feel very happy that he came and helped us in these hard times,” he added.
