Bodoland Territorial Council(BTC) Chief Executive Member(CEM) Pramod Boro appointed Ten EMs to monitor the emergency situation in the flood-affected areas in BTR.
The EMs appointed are, Wilson Hasda- Gossaigaon, Reo Reoa Narzary- Parbatjhora, Arup Kr Dey- Kokrajhar, Ranjit Basumatary- Kajalgaon, Dhananjay Basumatary- Bijni, Gautam Das- Salbari, Ghanashyam Das- Mushalpur, Ranendra Narzary- Tamulpur, Daobaisa Boro- Bhergaon, and Dr. Nilut Swargiary- Udalguri.
The CEM directed the EMs to monitor the flood situation in their respective areas, including damages caused by flood, crop damages, and erosion.
“As directed by the Hon’ble CEM, BTC, Kokrajhar and in view of the ensuing flood situation in the BTC area, the following Hon’ble EMs, BTC Kokrajhar are hereby detailed for monitoring of flood situation in the respective Sub-Divisions and field verification to ascertain the damages caused by flood and assess the crop damages, erosion etc. on affected persons,” stated the official notification issued by Anurag Goel, Principal Secretary, BTC.
Notably, they have been asked to inform the CEM about any emergency situation in the areas.
