Shillong boy Banteilang Jyrwa shines in MRF MOGRIP Supercross Championship 2022

Motocross racer and biker Banteilang Jyrwa on Sunday won first prize at the MRF MOGRIP Supercross Championship 2022. This was round 1 of MRF Mogrip FMSCI National Supercross Championship 2022 and Jyrwa got the first prize in CLASS-3, Novice, Group-C, upto 500 CC category. He raced with a TVS RTR 200 motorcycle. The race was held at Nashik on May 1, 2022.

Notably, Abhi S. Nath bagged the second prize and Arun T got the third prize. Abhi and Arun raced on their Impulse motorcycle.

It may be mentioned that Supercross talent from all over the country descended at Nashik for the event.

Speaking about Banteilang Jyrwa, he is a professional motocross racer from Shillong in Meghalaya and has represented Shillong as well as the Northeast in many Motocross and Supercross races held in different parts of India. Currently, he owns a Kawasaki KX250 and a Hero Impulse motorcycle.
