Nearly 50 new members from the BPF party joined the ruling UPPL party at a programme held at Duramari under Banargaon block in Kokrajhar district on Monday.
UPPL party leaders have welcomed the newly joined members and offered warm felicitation to the new members during the joining programme.
The ruling UPPL party has been gaining mass popularity among the citizens in the region.
Among others, senior UPPL leader and Banargaon TCLCC chairman Rabiram Brahma, Kokrajhar district committee UPPL general secretary Suraj Mushahary, Banargaon block in-charge Arun Basumatary, Banargaon block committee UPPL Indra Mushahary were prominent attendees in the programme.
