Guwahati, October 11, 2022: Modern English School, Kahilipara, Guwahati, ranked #6 in Guwahati and #7 in Assam as per the Education World India School Rankings (EWISR) 2022-23 for the category ‘Co-ed Day School.’ The award ceremony was held in Gurugram from Tuesday, 11 October 2022, to Wednesday, 12 October 2022. Mrs. Jonali Das, Principal, and Ms. Priyanka Das, Senior Communications Manager, Modern English School, Kahilipara, Guwahati, received the award on behalf of the school.
Established in 1984, Modern English School (MES), Kahilipara, is a Senior Higher Secondary co-educational school with a long tradition of developing the potential of every student and giving wings to their dreams. A private co-educational school for children aged 3-18; currently, the school has over 1200 students and 70 teachers. The school follows a constructive approach while designing the curriculum that motivates children to adopt 21st-century skills, such as teamwork, critical and creative thinking, collaborative learning, communicating, etc. The combination of extensive modern facilities, an independent thinking ground, specialised faculty, and a nature-friendly environment provides an excellent learning environment and ambiance to the students.
