The Miss Assam Organisation today held a felicitation ceremony to honor Anushka Lekharu, who has been recently crowned Femina Miss India- Assam, 2023. Miss Lekharu will be representing the state for the prestigious Femina Miss India, 2023 Finale that will be held for the first time in Imphal Manipur.
Miss Lekharu has outshined many other young talents and was selected among Top 11 to auditions in Mumbai, where she was selected as Femina Miss India- Assam, 2023.
Anushka Lekharu joined the pageant through the Miss Assam Organisation. The Miss Assam Organisation under the aegis of All Assam Youth Empowering Association (AAYEA), is the talent scout for Femina Miss India in Assam. The All Assam Youth Empowering Association has been working to empower the youth of the region and has been providing platforms to showcase their talent.
Today, on February 23, 2023, the President of Miss Assam Organisation, Shyamanga Protim Kashyap, and Vice President Akumnaro Imsong of All Assam Youth Empowering Association (AAYEA) felicitated Anushka Lekharu for her achievements at a program held at India Club.
Also present in the felicitation ceremony was Anushka’s mother, Indranee Lekharu. A proud Mrs. Lekharu narrated her daughter’s journey and hard work of achieving the goal. She also lauded the Miss Assam Organisation for their work and thanked the organisers for guiding Anushka and other youths of the state in fulfilment of their dreams.
