The beauty queen that inspires you the most and why: Sushmita Sen is the epitome of classic Indian beauty with dignified grace. She has inspired millions, including me, by adopting several roles – model, actress, entrepreneur and being a single mother. She is a woman of strong character and believes in creating a legacy.

What does Femina Miss India mean to you: Femina Miss India is not just like every girl’s childhood dream, but for me, what makes it more special is that my mother always wanted to be one herself. She was pregnant with me when Priyanka Chopra was crowned Miss World. Though she could never do it herself because of a strict family background, she wanted to live her dreams through her daughter, which is exactly why Femina Miss India is so special to me.

A social cause close to your heart and why: A social cause close to my heart is domestic violence many women face these days. What hurts me the most is that it’s happening almost everywhere, and we are unaware of it. Therefore, I aspire to work towards better implementing the laws rather than discussing them across forums.

If you were granted one wish, what would you ask for: If I were granted a wish, I would wish for my parents to sit on recliner seats in a multiplex, watching me on the big screen as I debut in a film as the female protagonist.
