The Happiest Country in the World is Finland, India Ranked at 126

Every year March 20 is observed as the International Day of Happiness. This was after the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution in July 2011, resulting in the first World Happiness Report, that was released on April 1, 2012. Since then, every year the report is published ranking national happiness.

The 2023 World Happiness Report ranks Finland as the Happiest Country in the world. Finland has managed to hold the rank for six consecutive years now.

India is ranked at 126 and is 12 from bottom in the World Happiness Report.

The top ten countries are Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Israel, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Luxembourg and New Zealand.
