Mira Rajput, the wife of actor Shahid Kapoor, has revealed her reason for stepping back from social media, mentioning the “pressure of posting” as the key factor behind her hiatus.
Mira shared insights into her break on Instagram, showcasing a video from her recent family trip to Landour.
In her caption, she expressed, “I’ve taken some time off Instagram – well I’ve been on it, posting stories here and there, but I just wanted a break from the pressure of posting. Not like anybody is expecting a post, but one gets into a cycle of feeling the need to keep posting about what’s going on in life on social media.. At least I did, and I thought I’d enjoy the summer without that pressure.”
Mira went on to share her rejuvenating experience, saying, “Now I’m back with the Insta-bug again, so here’s a glimpse of the trip I took with my family to the Hills.” The trip brought back nostalgic memories of her childhood summers, where she was pampered by her parents and relished the timeless joy of family bonding.
She offered a glimpse of her journey, capturing moments from a tea shop at Char Dukan, candid photos of herself enjoying outdoor time, and heartwarming selfies with her family.
Mira and Shahid had previously vacationed in Europe, but this Landour trip appeared to have been a cherished escape from the digital world. The couple, married since July 7, 2015, shares a strong bond and is nurturing their roles as loving parents to their children, Misha and Zain.
On the professional front, Shahid Kapoor recently appeared in the action thriller film ‘Bloody Daddy,’ streaming on the OTT platform JioCinema. He’s also set to star opposite Kriti Sanon in an upcoming film directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah.
