Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is ensuring the benefits of government schemes accessible to all eligible beneficiaries

The ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’, an outreach initiative aimed at disseminating information about various central government schemes is successfully carrying out its activities in various parts of Assam including far flung areas.

The Yatra today covered Bhangagarh and Kahilipara in Guwahati where it witnessed enthusiastic participation of local people. Beneficiaries of various central government schemes actively participated in the programmes today and shared their experiences about the benefits they are getting from government welfare schemes. Publicity materials related to government schemes were also distributed to the people during the event with an aim to create more awareness.

As part of the event, various departments set up stalls at the venues providing on spot services and awareness to the people. Various government flagship schemes like Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan  Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana etc were showcased in the campaign and people were also encouraged to avail the benefits from those .

Talking about the benefits of government schemes Shri Tultul Saikia, a beneficiary and a resident of Bhangagarh in Guwahati said that PM SVANidhi Yojana has helped the Street vendors like him to restart their business after Covid crisis. Thanking the government he said that the scheme has helped him to expand his business. Another Street vendor Shri Debajit Senapati expressed his gratitude towards PM Narendra Modi for helping them to be self-reliant through schemes like PM SVANidhi.

Smt Smita Deka, a resident of Kahilipara in Guwahati spoke about Ujjwala Scheme and shared how people in her locality are benefitted from various government schemes.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra continues its successful journey engaging local communities, spreading awareness and empowering individuals with knowledge about various social welfare and development programs.
