Guwahati Airport Special Initiative( Distribution of Elephant Chasing Equipment in Rangamati and Mirza )

GUWAHATI , Jan 9: The Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati, provided essential items under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) scheme to drive away herds of wild elephants in Rangamati and Mirza areas of South Kamrup district, Assam on Monday.
A flashlight and kerosene oil other necessary things has been provided . Chief Airport Officer, Utpal Barua, Finance Controller Mantu Kumar, HR manager Arnav Phanglocha and Corporate Communication officer Ruma Devi distributed charging flashlights and other items to chase elephants in the rural villages.
The aid was distributed among about 30 people led by Jayant Sharma, Dimbeswar Sharma of Rangamati Bakarapara village and about 50 people led by Anup Das and Pankaj Das in Mirza.
