GUWAHATI,March 19: The 175 Bn,CRPF ,Rani celebrated its CRPF Anniversary Day today .
Rajiv Kumar Jha, Commandant-175 Bn, CRPF took the salute of the Ceremonial Guard at Quarter Guard-175 Bn, CRPF. Thereafter, he presided over Sainik Sammelan at Unit recreation room in which he emphasized upon the importance of the occasion and gave important directions to deal with the modern day challenges and duties in the wake of General Parliament Election-2024 going to be held in Assam and in particular Guwahati City.
Thereafter, all Unit Officers went to the houses of Veernaris residing in Kamrup (Rural) district and handed over gifts to Veernaris. Rajiv Kumar Jha, Commandant-175 Bn, CRPF felicitated Veernari Karabi Das (Wife), resident of Dahali at Palashbari (Mirza), Munna Singh, Second-in-Command-175 Bn, CRPF felicitated Veernari Pratima Das (Mother), resident of Dadara at Hajo and Veernari Merina Begum (Wife), resident of Rowmari at Suwalkuchi respectively, Ravi Kumar Srivastava, Deputy Commandant-175 Bn, CRPF felicitated Veernari Putul Das (Mother), resident of Gowalhati at Palashbari (Mirza) and Jay Prakash Kumar, Assistant Commandant-175 Bn, CRPF felicitated Lalita Bala Kalita (Wife), resident of Belguri at Chaygaon.
In the evening at 1600 Hrs, Volleyball game between two teams was organized at Hqr/175 Bn, CRPF location in which both the participating teams were felicitated by Rajiv Kumar Jha, Commandant-175 Bn, CRPF after the game for their match fought in a good team and game spirit.
In the evening, all the messes of HQr/175 Bn, CRPF location and in the companies of 175 Bn, CRPF stationed at Guwahati City observed Badakhana at their respective locations. Thus, CRPF Anniversary Day was observed in a befitting manner by 175 Bn, CRPF throughout the day.
