Assam Foreigners’ Tribunals To Go Digital

To cope up with world going digital, all data of Assam’s Foreigners’ Tribunal, including foreigners’ information, biometric will be digitalised.

It comes as a Centre’s decision to make digital facilities available, which will enable recognition of a foreigner possible from any corner of the country.

Ministry of Home Affairs is at present taking the matter under discussion.

Information of the Border Police, organisations of the state government, Home Ministry and Foreigners’ Tribunal will be available.
