Assam: Khowang Winner Chakradhar Gogoi Says Congress Nearing ‘Political Extinction’

Guwahati: BJP leader and Khowang MLA Chakradhar Gogoi launched a sharp attack on the Congress, claiming that the party is heading towards “political extinction” in Assam.

Reacting after his electoral victory, Gogoi said the Congress has steadily lost public trust due to weak leadership and lack of a clear vision. He asserted that the party’s declining performance reflects the people’s growing preference for alternative leadership in the state.
