The meet is expected to bring together 1,000–1,500 bikers from across Assam and other parts of India, including motorcycle clubs from different districts of Assam and states across the Northeast, for a celebration of riding, camaraderie, competition and culture.

The spirit of motorcycling, adventure and brotherhood is set to take centre stage as the sixth edition of the RUFA Assam Riders Meet (ARM) 2027 prepares to bring together biking enthusiasts from across Assam and other parts of India on January 8 and 9, 2027. Organised by NEAO Riders under the umbrella of RUFA, the upcoming edition is expected to welcome around 1,000 to 1,500 bikers, along with motorcycle clubs from different districts of Assam and various states across the Northeast.

Over the years, the Assam Riders Meet has grown into a gathering that goes beyond motorcycles and long-distance rides. It offers riders an opportunity to connect with fellow enthusiasts, exchange experiences, discover new routes and strengthen the sense of community that brings people together through their shared passion for motorcycling.

More Than Just a Ride

The theme of ARM 2027 goes beyond the thrill of riding. From exploring new destinations and travelling in convoys to meeting fellow bikers and building lasting friendships, the event aims to celebrate the experiences and connections that make motorcycling a way of life.

With riders expected from different parts of the country, the meet will also provide an opportunity for motorcycle clubs to interact, share their stories and showcase the diversity of India’s biking community.

Adventure, Competition and Entertainment

The two-day gathering is expected to feature a mix of recreational activities, motorcycle challenges and entertainment, creating an engaging experience for participants.

Among the planned attractions are fun games, tug-of-war and arm wrestling, alongside competitions designed to test riders’ skills and control. Motorcycle activities will include limbo riding, off-road time trials and slow races, where precision, balance and patience matter as much as speed.

The combination of competitive events and informal activities is expected to offer something for both experienced riders and those looking to enjoy the wider biking community.

Celebrating Culture and Community

ARM 2027 will also highlight the cultural and social side of the gathering. Live music, performances by local artists, rider stories and community experiences are among the attractions featured in the event’s promotional material.

The meet also seeks to bring attention to causes that extend beyond motorcycling, including road safety, environmental awareness and youth engagement. These themes reflect the broader role that riding communities can play in promoting responsible riding, social interaction and community participation.

For many participants, the most memorable part of the event may not be a competition or a photograph, but the friendships, conversations and shared experiences that continue long after the engines have stopped.

Registration Open, Limited Slots Available

With the event scheduled for January 8 and 9, 2027, registration is open, with slots available on a limited basis. Interested riders and motorcycle clubs are encouraged to connect with the organisers through the official social media pages of Neo Riders and RUFA for registration details, ticket information and booking procedures.

Participants are advised to secure their slots early, given the expected turnout of 1,000–1,500 bikers.

As preparations for the sixth edition continue, RUFA Assam Riders Meet 2027 is shaping up to be a gathering that brings together adventure, friendly competition, music, culture and the bonds shared by riders across the Northeast and beyond.

For the biking community, the message is simple: the road brings riders together, but it is the people, stories and friendships that make the journey unforgettable.

“We will be hosting the 6th edition of the Assam Riders’ Meet in 2027. The event is organised by different motorcycle clubs every year under the banner of RUFA (Riders United Forum of Axom). Assam is divided into five zones under RUFA, with the venue and organising club changing from one zone to another each year. For 2027, Biswanath Chariali has been selected as the venue. Interested riders can visit rufa.co.in for further details and information on the registration process,” said Rider Ritun, Chief of NEAO Riders Club.
