Awareness Campaign on Human-Elephant Conflict Held in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar, July 26: An awareness campaign on human-elephant conflict was held today at Brahmapur near Karigaon in Kokrajhar district.

The programme was attended by the DFO of Haltugaon Division, officials of Wildlife Trust of India (WTI), local leaders, village headmen, and villagers.

Speakers at the event emphasized the urgent need to find solutions to reduce human-elephant conflict in the region and promote peaceful coexistence between humans and wildlife.
