Awareness Programme on Mission Basundhara 2.0 Held in Chirang

Kajalgaon (Chirang), July 25: An awareness meeting on Mission Basundhara 2.0 related to land issues in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) was organized today at Kajalgaon Municipal Board hall in Chirang district.

The awareness session chaired by MLA and Chairman of Kajalgaon Subdivision Land Advisory Committee, Nirmal Kumar Brahma, was organized specifically for the Sidli Legislative Assembly Constituency, was attended by several dignitaries including BTR Executive Member Saikhong Basumatary, TCLCC Chairman Maoti Brahma Hajowary, Sidli Revenue Circle Officer Nabajit Das, VCDC Chairpersons, leaders of various organizations, senior citizens, and social workers.

Addressing the gathering, MLA Nirmal Kumar Brahma elaborated on the objectives and scope of Mission Basundhara 2.0, emphasizing the importance of ensuring land ownership for the landless. He urged all stakeholders to work together so that genuine beneficiaries can be identified and provided with rightful land through the initiative.
