Bollywood Actor Sonu Sood to visit Assam this month to attend Bodoland International Knowledge Festival

Beginning on February 27, Bodoland University will host the first-ever Bodoland International Knowledge Festival.

Bodoland International Knowledge Festival is a one-of-its-kind festival being organized by the BTR Government. Many known faces from Bollywood are expected to grace the event including Sonu Sood, and Vivek Oberoi.

The event would be attended by around 300 invited delegates from all over India and 35 foreign delegates from 14 other nations. The event will be graced by Assam Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assam Legislative Assembly Speaker Biswajit Daimari, RK Ranjan Singh, the Union Minister of State for Education & External Affairs along with Vice Chancellors of five Universities.

BTR Executive Member Wilson Hasda wrote on Facebook, “অহা ২৭ ফেব্ৰুৱাৰীত অনুষ্ঠিত হ’বলগীয়া বড়োলেণ্ড আন্তঃৰাষ্ট্ৰীয় জ্ঞান মহোৎসৱত আমন্ত্ৰিত অতিথি ৰূপে উপস্থিত থাকি সৌষ্ঠৱ বৃদ্ধি কৰিব বলীউডৰ বিখ্যাত অভিনেতা মাননীয় শ্ৰীযুত ছনু সুদ ডাঙৰীয়াই। আজি তেখেতে এই সন্দৰ্ভত সামাজিক মাধ্যমযোগে প্ৰশংসনীয় বাৰ্তা প্ৰেৰণ কৰাত অতি সুখী হৈছোঁ আৰু তেখেতৰ শুভ আগমনৰ বাবে বাট চাই ৰৈছোঁ।

We are eagerly waiting to welcome him to BTR!,” BTR CEM Pramod Boro posted on Facebook.
The festival would capture the information exchange, knowledge-action-reflection, and ongoing learning of many communities of practise in BTR.

The Bodoland International Knowledge Festival’s theme is the accomplishment of crucial SDG 2030 social development priorities in modern BTR and the global community.

Notably, over 10,000 participants including students, researchers, entrepreneurs, farmers, teachers and politicians will take active part in the Knowledge Festival.
