Brutal Murder in Chirang – Husband Kills Wife with Hammer Blows
Chirang, July 8: A gruesome murder took place this morning in Krishnapur village under Kajalgaon Police Station in Chirang district. A man named Jitu Hembram (33) allegedly killed his wife, Podin Hasda (25), by striking her repeatedly with a hammer inside their own house after a quarrel.
According to police sources, the incident occurred around 7:30 AM. The accused, Jitu Hembram, has been arrested by Kajalgaon Police. Jitu himself confessed to the crime.
The couple has two minor children.
