BTR Government Distributes 862 Land Pattas to Landless Families in Chirang

Chirang, July 19: In a significant move to secure land rights and provide stability to landless families, the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) Government’s Land and Revenue Department distributed 862 land pattas (land titles) to eligible beneficiaries today at a ceremonial event held at Laimuthi Playground under the 14-Chirang Duar constituency.

The event witnessed the presence of key dignitaries including Lok Sabha MP Joyanta Basumatary, Rajya Sabha MP Rwngwra Narzary, MLA Nirmal Kumar Brahma, and BTC Executive Members Ranjit Basumatary and Saikhong Basumatary. Senior administrative officials were also present during the distribution ceremony.
