CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Unveils ‘Bodoland Speaks’

Guwahati, July 6: Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday unveiled two key publications highlighting the cultural and developmental journey of the Bodoland region at a ceremonial event held at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, Guwahati.

The first, titled “Bodoland Speaks: From Vision to Action”, was launched along with “Communication Bridge”, a comprehensive 600-page volume featuring 1,001 words and sentences translated into 18 regional languages spoken across the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR)—aimed at fostering multilingual communication and inclusivity.

The Chief Minister also released “Transforming Bodoland: Looking Within – My Reflections”, the Annual Report of the Bodoland region, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and progress made over the past year.

Dr. Sarma also felicitated distinguished individuals from 18 linguistic communities in BTR for their contributions towards promoting unity and cultural harmony in the region.
