Cultural programme organised by The Light of Drama School at Bamunigaon

GUWAHATI,Aug 6:A day-long vibrant cultural programme was organised on Tuesday at the playground of Preetipur ME School under the initiative of The Light of Drama School, a theatre group known for promoting performing arts.
The event was held following a summer workshop conducted on dance, drama, and other creative disciplines, aimed at the all-round development of students. As part of the programme, a dance competition was held where Rittwik Nath from Kahilipara secured the first prize, Anita Kalita from Chaygaon won the second, and Pooja Saha from Goalpara took the third place.
Young artist Tanushree Kalita mesmerised the audience with a melodious musical performance.
The programme witnessed the presence of several dignitaries, including teachers from various schools, prominent journalist Gagan Kalita, noted dance artist Dhruva Das, Kaustav Choudhury, and social worker Hafiz Ali, among others.
