Hatigarh-Ghagra connecting road is an important road on the Indo-Bhutan border under the Udalguri legislative assembly constituency and Nonoi Serfang council constituency of BTC of Udalguri district. This road is very important for the communication service with Bhutan International border from the main state road UT.
Also, this road is the one and only communication road for Hatigarh Army Camp and Hatigarh Tea garden.

Meanwhile, for many years locals, students, and the Indian Army as well as people of the tea garden have been suffering from the bad condition of this road. The road is already rebuilding a box culver near the Army camp with the help of MLA fund, though the road is temporarily paved due to the slow pace of work. Therefore, yesterday executive member of BTC Sanjit Tanti, Army Colonel Amit Archi, in collaboration with the tea garden authority, rebuilt the demolished temporary road and facilitated communication for the locals. Locals thanked EM Sanjit Tanti for taking this personal step for good communication with the locals and appealed to the administration to complete the construction of the road including the box culver which is being constructed with the MLA fund.
