Guwahati, January 11, 2026: The city of Guwahati came alive as the House of McDowell’s Soda Yaari Jam tour made its vibrant stop in the Northeast, uniting fans for a one-of-a-kind night featuring India’s biggest pop phenomenon, King and the globally renowned Indian metal sensation, Bloodywood. Produced and promoted by TribeVibe Entertainment, the show celebrated the spirit of friendship and music with a dynamic blend of adrenaline, rhythm and camaraderie.
The evening kicked off with King, who brought his signature flair to the stage, electrifying the arena with chart-topping hits such as ‘Maan Meri Jaan’, ‘Tu Aake Dekhle’, ‘Teri Na Ho Saki’ and many more. His performance pulsed with excitement, forging moments of deep connection and emotion with the audience. Taking the celebrations to a crescendo, Bloodywood closed the night with a blistering set defined by fierce energy and socially charged lyrics. Thunderous anthems like ‘Bekauf’, ‘Danadan’, ‘Halla Bol’ and many more left fans mesmerised. The band transformed the stage into a storm of sound and solidarity, leaving audiences truly awestruck.
Speaking about the show, King said, “Guwahati showed up with pure love tonight! The energy, the voices and the vibes were unreal. Nights like this remind me why we do what we do, to connect with people through music and celebrate every emotion together.”
Varun Koorichh, Vice President and Portfolio Head, Marketing, Diageo India, shared, “Music and friendship have always been at the heart of House of McDowell’s Soda, and these passions come alive through Yaari Jam — India’s largest branded music IP. Last year, we brought together over 50,000 consumers across five cities. This year, we’re taking Yaari Jam to 15 cities with an incredible lineup of artists who embody the sound and spirit of today’s generation, and we expect to connect with over 1,00,000 consumers as we continue to celebrate the essence of real friendships.”
Shoven Shah, Founder & CEO, TribeVibe Entertainment, added, “Bringing King and Bloodywood together on one stage for the Guwahati showcase was a truly standout moment for us. Their contrasting musical identities added to the energy of the evening- King’s high-octane performance brought a slick, contemporary edge, while Bloodywood’s power-packed set, rooted in metal with strong Indian influences, delivered raw intensity. Together, the two acts created a dynamic contrast that the audience embraced with equal enthusiasm. That is the power of live music: it transcends preferences, moods and generations. We take pride in curating diverse, high-impact experiences that connect fans with the artists they love in the most meaningful and authentic way.”
