Haryana Model Sheetal Found Dead; Boyfriend Arrested Following Murder Confession

Chandigarh, June 17:
In a shocking incident from Haryana’s Sonipat district, 22-year-old aspiring model Sheetal was found dead under suspicious circumstances, with her boyfriend arrested after allegedly confessing to her murder.

According to police officials, the incident occurred on Sunday at a rented accommodation in the Murthal area. Preliminary investigations revealed that Sheetal, who had been pursuing a career in modelling, was in a live-in relationship with the accused, identified as Aakash, a gym trainer by profession.

Authorities were alerted after neighbours noticed a strong odour emanating from the house. Upon arrival, police discovered Sheetal’s decomposing body concealed in a bed storage compartment. The forensic team was immediately called to the scene.

During interrogation, Aakash reportedly admitted to strangling Sheetal to death during a heated altercation. He allegedly tried to hide the body and continued staying at the residence until the smell raised suspicions.

Police have booked the accused under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, and further investigations are underway to establish the full sequence of events and motive.

The tragic death has sparked outrage on social media, with many calling for swift justice and highlighting the need for stronger measures to address domestic violence.
