In his statement to the Mumbai Police, Neeraj Singh, the housekeeper of the late Sushant Singh Rajput, allegedly said that he rolled marijuana cigarettes for the actor during parties.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s housekeeper Neeraj Singh, in a statement to the Mumbai Police, allegedly said that the late actor used to party once or twice every week and that he would roll marijuana cigarettes for him during those parties.

In the statement, accessed by India Today, Neeraj supposedly said that Sushant would party with his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and friends Anandi and Ayush. He added that Samuel Jacob would roll the joints for the actor and on some occasions, he would do the job. He claimed that before Sushant died by suicide, he rolled the marijuana cigarettes for him for three days, which were kept in a cigarette case in a cupboard near staircase. He said that after the actor’s death, he discovered that that the case was empty.

Sushant died by suicide on June 14 after hanging himself to the ceiling at his Bandra apartment. The Mumbai Police, which started investigating the high-profile case, is of the belief that the actor indeed died by suicide. However, after the actor’s father KK Singh alleged that their son was murdered, the public at large has begun to believe that it’s a murder case.

It was last week that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) took over the case. A four-member team of the premier investigating agency is currently in Mumbai to probe the case. Earlier today, they visited Sushant’s house and reportedly recreated the death scene to get a better idea of what would have possibly happened on the fateful day. The CBI is also seeking the help of doctors from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in the case. The CBI officials will share the autopsy and viscera reports of the actor with the doctors.
