Senior Assam Cabinet Minister Jayanta Malla Baruah expressed great happiness while attending the open session of the 41st Annual Conference of the New Dehar Regional Branch of Srimanta Sankardeva Sangha, hosted by the Burinagar Primary Branch.

Jayanta Malla Baruah said it was a privilege to address the gathering of elders, mothers, and devotees and to be part of such a spiritually uplifting occasion. He noted that the entire programme was conducted in a deeply devotional atmosphere, resonating with the chanting of the holy name of Lord Hari, which created a sacred and serene environment.

He stated that the massive participation of devotees transformed the event into a truly divine and unique gathering, reflecting the strong spiritual foundation of Assamese society. The minister emphasised that such annual conferences play a vital role in preserving and carrying forward the ideals of Srimanta Sankardeva, including devotion, discipline, Ek Saran Naam Dharma, and human values, to every generation.

Jayanta Malla Baruah also congratulated all those involved in organising the holy event and extended his best wishes for its continued success in strengthening the spiritual and cultural fabric of society.
