Minor Raped In Assam

At a time when the entire state is reeling under one of the worst deluges in recent times, an incident of rape of a minor at Chakhati in Kokrajhar-Dhubri border under Chapatgram PS has created a sensation.

As per reports, one Dulu Adhikari (55) lured a 7-year-old girl into his grocery shop when she went to the shop to buy some items.

When the news about the rape spread, agitated villagers surrounded the shop and the accused was arrested by Chapatgram Police.
