MMUA Financial Aid Distribution in Baksa

Baksa, Dec 30 — Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday launched the disbursement of financial assistance under the Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan (MMUA) at Shanti Bazar Gati, Salbari, under the Manas Assembly Constituency in Baksa district.

Under this phase of the scheme, financial assistance of ₹10,000 each was disbursed to 30,737 women beneficiaries. All the beneficiaries are members of various Self-Help Groups (SHGs) from the Manas Assembly Constituency. The initiative aims to promote women entrepreneurship and strengthen livelihood opportunities at the grassroots level.

BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary and Assam Cabinet Ministers Urkhao Gwra Brahma, Jayanta Mallabaruah were among the dignitaries present on the occasion, along with senior district officials and local representatives.
