According to reports, the passenger booked an Ola cab through his mobile from Kamakhya Railway Station to
Lakhimi Nagar: however, the driver later went offline and demanded Rs 2000 from the passenger. After getting the sum of
money, the driver dropped the passenger midway and escaped from the spot.
The Ola vehicle was a Maruti Suzuki Swift bearing number AS-01-GC-1057. The driver has been identified as Sanjib Paul.
