Orientation session on life skills program held in Chhaygaon

Palasbari,June 28: A physical orientation session on the Life Skills Program and its associated reporting tools was successfully conducted at Champaknagar Girls’ High School under the Chhaygaon Elementary Education Block on Friday.
The session saw the active participation of 67 individuals, including Nodal Teachers (NTs), Cluster Resource Centre Coordinators (CRCCs), and block-level education officials.


The program commenced with a warm welcome by block officials, setting a positive tone for the day’s proceedings. This was followed by a comprehensive presentation by the District Support Officer (DSO) Sumi Kalita, who provided an overview of the Life Skills Program, its objectives, and its significance in the holistic development of students.


A key component of the session was a live demonstration of the Life Skills Reporting Dashboard, which illustrated the structure and flow of monitoring mechanisms at the district, block, and school levels. This segment aimed to build clarity among stakeholders regarding their roles and responsibilities in ensuring accurate and timely data entry.


The orientation also featured an in-depth session on the FRAPPE tool, designed to streamline the reporting process. During this segment, Nodal Teachers completed backdated session entries and submitted their Life Skills registers for review. To ensure consistency in record-keeping, standardized formats for the Magic Sheet and register maintenance were also distributed.


Towards the conclusion of the session, participants engaged in an open feedback round, during which they expressed appreciation for the clarity and hands-on support provided. Many participants affirmed their commitment to adhering to the updated reporting protocols and guidelines moving forward.


The orientation was widely regarded as informative and impactful, paving the way for more structured implementation of the Life Skills initiative in the Chhaygaon Block.
