Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for a slew of projects in Tamil Nadu today. This is his first visit to Chennai since MK Stalin became the Chief Minister. Five-tier security arrangements had been put in place ahead of the visit, with around 22,000 policemen deployed by the Greater Chennai Police .
