Centre has extended the ban on insurgent outfit of Assam ULFA for 5 years for continuing subversive activities, including killings, kidnapping, extortions. ULFA has been indulging in illegal and violent activities intended to disrupt sovereignty and territorial integrity of India.
Cachar: Khirod Baishya CI Sonai and team lead a raid on Thursday wherein suspected Narcotics substances were seized and one person named Arif Uddin Talukdar was apprehended. As per reports, Talukdar has been detained for questioning.
