Sanskriti Sharma: The Rising Voice of Uttar Pradesh at Miss Grand India
By Sam.
Guwahati: In an age where young voices are shaping the new India, Sanskriti Sharma, a proud daughter of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, is quietly yet powerfully carving her own path. As a Miss Grand India finalist, she stands as a vibrant example of what it means to combine intellect, artistry, and resilience.
Born to Mrs. Urvashi Sharma and Mr. Sashim Sharma, Sanskriti’s journey has been rooted in a home that values support and ambition. Currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in Journalism and Mass Communication (Honours/Research) from Amity University, Noida, she is a student with clarity, a model with poise, and an entrepreneur with purpose. Her schooling years were shaped at St. Fidelis College, Lucknow—where her confidence first began to bloom.

“I am a professional model, an entrepreneur, and a student,” she says with poise. Sanskriti is also the founder of Veridian House, a Lucknow-based marketing startup currently in the development phase. “Veridian House is still in the process of becoming fully operational, but it reflects my long-term vision to build something rooted in my city,” she adds. This entrepreneurial initiative adds another dimension to her multifaceted career and reflects her commitment to contributing to her hometown’s creative economy.
Her family’s belief in her dreams has been a constant anchor. “My family is really very supportive about my goals,” Sanskriti affirms. Their unwavering encouragement became the foundation for a career that now finds her on the national stage of Miss Grand India.

The journey to this platform has not been without its own set of challenges. “Honestly, there has been a lot of hustle and bustle, but nothing stops me from going after my goals,” she says. “I’ve been working very hard on everything—whether it is my talent round, my state costume or my national costume—because everything counts in.”
As a finalist, Sanskriti views the stage as more than just a competition. “I feel really blessed that I got this opportunity and this platform to speak for myself, and inspire not only several girls just like me, but also the whole society out there,” she shares.
Beyond modeling, she finds joy in life’s simpler creative outlets. “I love dancing, painting, cooking, and baking,” she adds with a smile.

When asked about how she plans to represent her roots on the national stage, Sanskriti reflects on the cultural richness of Uttar Pradesh. “The first feeling I get when I think of Uttar Pradesh is the warmth that people hold in their hearts. We’re known for our famous delicacies, our artwork, and what not. Uttar Pradesh is a true essence of beauty. I believe the best way to showcase my roots is through my behaviour,” she explains with clarity and depth.
Her gratitude toward her home state is heartfelt. “I would like to thank each and every person who has been a part of my life and this journey. I thank them for the support they showered me with and for believing in me. At the same time, I want to say this to our society—that if I can follow my dreams, then you can too.”

Preparing for the Miss Grand India stage is no small feat, but Sanskriti approaches it with discipline and grace. “I’ve been preparing myself in every possible way. I like to journal out my emotions to balance them. I’ve been rigorously practicing my speech, my walk, my body presentation. I am so grateful to have such supportive people in my life—it would not have been possible without them.”
As she prepares to represent Uttar Pradesh on one of the most prestigious beauty platforms in the country, Sanskriti Sharma brings with her not just the elegance of a model, but the heart of a leader and the voice of a generation unafraid to dream.
