Shillong daughter, Riya Suting, sparkles on the national stage as the winner of Miss P&I India 2025
A platform that celebrates inclusivity and diversity in the field of pageantry — P&I (Pageant & Innovation) — witnessed a proud moment for the Northeast this year as Riya Suting, daughter of Shillong, Meghalaya, made history by winning the title of Miss P&I India 2025.
Riya was the only representative from Meghalaya and the sole participant from the entire Northeast region at the national pageant held in Goa from 17th to 21st September. Competing among 20 contestants from across the country, the event followed a dynamic, reality TV-style format that evaluated not just beauty, but also intellect, strength, and grace.
P&I, founded by young visionary Malik Isani, stands as a platform built on the belief that every story is a crown. It aims to bring inclusion to the forefront of Indian pageantry, creating space for authenticity and individuality to shine.
Carrying that spirit, Riya Suting’s victory represents more than just personal achievement — it marks a milestone for Meghalaya and the entire Northeast. By embracing her story and standing tall with confidence, she has redefined what it means to be a queen in today’s world.
A first-generation graduate in her family, Riya’s journey is an inspiring testament for the youth, encouraging them to break conventional stereotypes and champion inclusivity in the evolving world of pageantry.
Professionally, she holds corporate experience in Branding and Communication, while her love for public speaking has driven her to become a dynamic anchor, having hosted over 50 events across various platforms.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Riya is deeply passionate about animal welfare, advocating kindness and compassion towards the voiceless.
