Six feted for securing govt jobs in Rani

PALASBARI,Oct 28: A felicitation ceremony was held at Rani on Saturday under the initiative of the Rani Anchalik Koch Rajbongshi Students’ Union. The event took place at the permanent office of the organization, where six youths from the region who recently secured government jobs through various state recruitment examinations were honored.

The ceremony was graced by Palasbari MLA Hemanga Thakuria, social worker and office land donor Subhash Das, president of the Rani Regional Land Protection Committee Dipak Kalita, treasurer of the greater Rani Koch Rajbongshi Protection Committee Montu Deka, secretary Rajanikanta Das, and Rani Anchalik Students’ Union secretary Paragjyoti Das, among others.
Those felicitated included Kanika Swargiary of Rangapara (appointed as a postgraduate teacher in Logic and Philosophy), Bhairab Das of Dharampur (graduate teacher in Mathematics), Mantu Rabha of Andherijuli (Assam Police), Akhay Mazumdar of Kaharpara (Battalion in Police Department), Parishmita Das of New Rani (Commando, Police Department) and Sagarika Boro of Batabari (Grade III employee).
