GUWAHATI: In Assam, voting for the second and final phase of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) polls has concluded in 19 seats in Chirang and Kokrajhar districts amid tight security. Nearly 79 percent polling was recorded when reports last came in. 111 candidates are in the fray in this phase.
Guwahati: An FIR was lodged on Wednesday after a woman was gang-raped by 17 persons in the presence of her husband in Jharkhand’s Dumka district, police said. The crime took place in an area falling under Mufasil police station jurisdiction on Tuesday when the woman was returning home along with
