Tamulpur Boy Vijay Das has designed a special set of Gamucha where he has beautifully designed pictures of significant Assamese figures using the red threads which are generally used for making floral designs in the Gamucha.
He has carved pictures of famous Assamese figures, including Lakshimanth Bezbaruah, Jyoti Prasad Agarwala, Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha, Mamoni Raisom Goswami, Bhupen Hazarika, Papon, and Zubeen Garg.
Notably, Vijay is a student of Rangia College and is a resident of Borkhopa Village in Tamulpur, Assam.
