Tree Plantation Drive in Memory of Zubeen Garg Continues on Guru Jayanti

In a heartfelt tribute to the legendary artist Zubeen Garg, the Nimana Jatha Seva Society, Axom has undertaken a massive tree plantation initiative. So far, the organization has successfully planted over 38,000 trees across various parts of Assam.

Continuing this noble mission, the society marked the auspicious occasion of Guru Jayanti by planting around 200 saplings at the Basista Blind School, Basista.

Members of the Seva Society expressed their commitment to carrying forward Zubeen Garg’s legacy of love and harmony with nature. They also appealed to the public to join the upcoming plantation drive scheduled for 14th November 2025, urging everyone to contribute to this green initiative in memory of the beloved singer.
