Guwahati, Assam: Celebrating 32 years of tradition, elegance, and craftsmanship, WR Jewellery by Waheeda Rahman has unveiled a unique jewellery collection inspired by Assam’s classical dance form, Sattriya. The newly launched collection features three exclusive “Sattriya Mudra” designs, beautifully crafted ornaments inspired by symbolic hand gestures and expressions of Sattriya dance.

The special collection was launched during a grand event attended by artists, cultural personalities, and invited guests. The jewellery pieces were showcased as a tribute to Assamese heritage, spirituality, and artistic excellence.

As WR Jewellery completes 31 years,and entered into 32 years, this collection is our tribute to Assamese culture and the timeless elegance of Sattriya.”

The “Sattriya Mudra” collection has been designed to celebrate and preserve Assam’s rich cultural traditions through contemporary jewellery. Each design reflects the essence of Assamese identity while appealing to modern jewellery lovers with a blend of tradition and elegance.

Several noted personalities associated with Assamese art and Sattriya culture were present during the launch ceremony, making the occasion a celebration of culture, creativity, and heritage. Among the guests present were Padmashree Shri Jatin Goswami, noted Sattriya Dancer Anita Sharma, Nandini Magazine Editor Maini Mahanta, and ND24 Managing Editor Rajdeep Bailung Barua.
