What is National Recruitment Agency (NRA)? National Recruitment Agency is a testing agency that would be responsible for conducting the preliminary ‘eligibility’ examination for non-gazetted posts. This includes the banking jobs in government sector banks, railway jobs and SSC Jobs. This agency is set up under the Societies Registration Act, would have representatives of the Ministry of Railways, Department of Financial Services, the SSC, RRB and IBPS.

National Recruitment Agency CET 

National Recruitment Agency CET stands for a common eligibility test. The NRA would conduct an online CET exam which would be served as a screening or a preliminary examination for various non-gazetted government jobs including the RRBs, IBPS – banking jobs and the SSC jobs. This would be the first level of examination which is conducted for the candidates.

The Medium of National Recruitment Agency CET 

NRA would conduct CET in 12 major Indian languages and not just in English or Hindi.

Validity of National Recruitment Agency CET 

NRA CET score would be valid for three years. It means that once a candidate qualifies CET, he/she not appear for the exam for consecutive three years and would be eligible to appear for the various recruitment examinations conducted in the three years depending on the age limit given by the agency.
