GUWAHATI: A complaint has been filed in a Bihar court on Saturday against actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty for having abetted the deceased actor’s suicide, news agency PTI reported.
The case which has been filed by Kundan Kumar, a resident of Patahi locality in Muzaffarpur, has accused Chakraborty of “financial and mental exploitation” of whom she dumped after her career was secure and her purpose was served.
“My client is a huge fan of Rajput and has been deeply distressed by his suicide. He has filed his complaint under IPC Sections 306 (abetment of suicide) and 420 (fraud),” the lawyer said as per PTI reports.
According to the report, Kundan Kumar filed his petition before the court of CJM Mukesh Kumar and the matter has been posted for hearing on June 24.
This is the second petition filed before the CJM’s court in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur in connection with the suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput.
Earlier on Wednesday, advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha has filed a case against 8 people including Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Salman Khan and Ekta Kapoor under Sections 306, 109, 504 & 506 of IPC in connection with actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case in a court in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, news agency ANI reported.
“In the complaint, I have alleged that Sushant Singh Rajput was removed from around seven films and some of his films were not released. Such a situation was created which forced him to take the extreme step,” the lawyer told ANI. (ANI)
