The Khel Maharan Urban Local Body (ULB) competition, organized by the Kokrajhar Municipal Board, took place at the Government Higher Secondary & Multipurpose School ground and KDSA stadium on Friday.
The event was inaugurated by BTR executive member Wilson Hasda, alongside Kokrajhar Municipal Board chairperson Pratibha Brahma and other dignitaries. The Khel Maharan witnessed a substantial turnout of young participants across various age groups, competing in a range of sports including athletics (100m to 800m), football, kabaddi, and volleyball.
The primary objective of Khel Maharan is to discover and nurture grassroots sports talent within the state, and the event successfully achieved this goal.
