Awareness programme on Anxiety disorder held at Guwahati BSF

PALASBARI,May 25: An awareness programme on Stress and Anxiety disorder-Emerging issues was conducted in CAPFs Composite Hospital Patgaon in association with Frontier Headquarters Guwahati on Saturday. Around 200 people attended above lecture including Officers, Subordinate officers, Jawans and families of BSF, NDRF and Composite Hospital Patgaon in Guwahati.
The Objective of the programme was to create awareness and educate the troops and their families on how to overcome or heal from the common mental health issues.
The programme commenced with welcome address by Dr R K Kotnala, DIG (Med)/MS followed by a detailed lecture by Dr Mythili Hazarika, M Phil., Phd., Associate Professor, Department of Clinical Psychology, Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
The closing address was given by Dinesh Kumar Yadav, IPS, Inspector General Frontier Headquarter, BSF Guwahati. He applauded the efforts of CH BSF Patgaon as the lecture was very much enlightening and interactive.
