3rd North-East Foodtech Begins At Maniram Dewan Trade Centre

The third edition of North-East Foodtech-2022, the landmark trade exhibition for food and hospitality industry in Northeast India, was inaugurated on Friday at the Maniram Trade Centre in Guwahati.

The 3rd North-East Foodtech has been organised by Kolkata Foodtech in collaboration with the All Assam Restaurant Association and the Hotel & Restaurant Association of Assam at Maniram Dewan Trade Centre (air-conditioned halls) in Guwahati from May 13-15. It is showcasing around 90 reputed companies from all over India.

Speaking about the event, Zakir Hossain, chief convener of North-East Foodtech, said: “About 90 reputed companies from all over India are displaying their products and services for three days in this vibrant platform. This exposition focuses the state of Assam as a right destination for investment in the food processing and hospitality sector. As we all are aware that Covid-19 has taught us how important food safety and hygiene is. Food packaging plays a pivotal role in the line of food hygiene. The 3rd North East Foodtech brings a bunch of innovative ideas in the field of food preparation & packaging.”

A wide range of processed food & beverages, food packaging technology, bakery & confectionery equipment, hospitality industry products, food display system, sweet & snacks making technology, food additives & ingredients, food flavours & decorative products, food & hospitality industry IT solutions are being displayed in this huge platform.

Several thousand trade visitors from entire Northeastern states and border countries are expected to visit this trade show for three days.

The Northeast region has enormous potentiality for the bakery & confectionery industry. A new generation of home bakers is coming up in the market with mouth-watering products at a very competitive price. This exposition will provide them end to end solutions & groom them to become ideal entrepreneurs.
