A total of 146 persons were appointed as Government employees including 23 post graduate (PG) teachers in higher secondary and senior secondary schools and 123 Grade IV provincialisation of service under Education department in Bodoland Territorial Region districts.
Bodoland Territorial Region chief executive member Pramod Boro ceremonially distributed the appointment letters of provincialisation of services of Grade IV of upper primary (UP) schools under Bodoland Territorial Council and post graduate teachers in higher secondary and senior secondary schools under BTR districts at a programme held at BTCLA Auditorium Hall, Bodofa Nwgwr in Kokrajhar on Monday in the presence of BTCLA speaker Katiram Boro, BTR executive member Reoreoa Narzihary, Sidli MLA Jayanta Basumatary and officials of Education department.
BTR CEM Boro said that till date nearly 1900 appointments are made including teachers under the Education department in Bodoland Territorial Region.
Boro also informed that BTR Government has decided to establish ten cinema halls in the districts of BTR of which five cinema halls would be constructed within this year in various places which include Serfanguri (Kokrajhar), Runikata (Chirang), Shimla and Baganpara (Baksa) and Udalguri (Udalguri).
He said that the cinema industry would be developed in days to come across the BTR districts.
