Assam police on Wednesday arrested a TET invigilator for allegedly leaking the question paper of Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) 2021 on social media platforms. The examination was conducted on October 31st.

Police detained the invigilator on Tuesday evening after the principal of Cachar district’s MHC Higher Secondary School, Mustafizur Rahman, filed an FIR against him.

The teacher was identified as Baharul Alom Kausar Barbhuiya. He is a resident of the Hailakandi district. Barbhuiya worked at MHC Higher Secondary School, one of the 60 examination centers in the Cachar district. He was the invigilator at the center.

The leaked question paper had a roll number of a candidate on it. The roll number on the question paper made it easier for the police authorities to the center from where it was leaked.
